Lake Wissota is a 6,300-acre reservoir located in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, USA. The lake was created in 1918 by the construction of a hydroelectric dam on the Chippewa River. It is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and water sports, and also has several public parks and trails for hiking and cycling. The lake is surrounded by residential areas and vacation homes, and there are several boat launches and marinas for visitors to access the water. In the winter, the lake is also used for ice fishing and snowmobiling.
